Pipe & Equipment Insulation Services

İstaş Endüstri provides comprehensive thermal and acoustic insulation services for pipelines and equipment at power plants, petrochemical facilities, refineries, cement factories and mining sites. Our CINI-certified specialists engineer, supply and install the complete insulation system — from material selection and heat-loss calculations through to aluminium or galvanised cladding.

Applications

• Hot piping & equipment — steam, condensate, hot-oil and process lines insulated with rock wool, glass wool or calcium silicate to minimise heat loss and protect personnel.
• Cold piping & equipment — chilled-water and refrigerant lines insulated with Armaflex or cellular glass to prevent condensation and maintain process temperature.
• Cryogenic insulation — LNG, liquid nitrogen and other cryogenic lines insulated with perlite, polyurethane foam or cellular glass systems rated to −196 °C.
• Tank & vessel insulation — external and internal insulation for storage tanks, reactors, heat exchangers and pressure vessels.
• Turbine & compressor insulation — custom-engineered removable insulation jackets for steam turbines, gas turbines and compressors to enable quick inspection access.
• Fire-resistant insulation — passive fire protection (PFP) systems for structural steel and piping using intumescent or endothermic materials.

Materials We Work With

We are material-agnostic and select the optimum product for each application: rock wool (mineral wool pipe sections and slabs), glass wool, aerogel blankets for space-constrained systems, calcium silicate for high-temperature equipment (up to 1,000 °C), cellular glass for cold and cryogenic service, and Armaflex / elastomeric foam for refrigeration and HVAC.

Our Process

1. Engineering & calculation — heat-loss / heat-gain calculations, insulation thickness design per ISO 12241 / ASTM C680.
2. Material supply — direct procurement from approved manufacturers; full traceability documentation.
3. Installation — carried out by our trained insulation mechanics under site-supervisor oversight.
4. Cladding — aluminium (smooth or corrugated), galvanised steel or stainless-steel sheet metal cladding with weather-tight seals.
5. Inspection & handover — dimensional check, thermal-imaging survey where required, and as-built documentation.
